Service of the month: June 2016

A spare part for an aeroplane was missing closed to Nice/ Côte d’Azur. The customer requested that also the damaged component should come back to Munich airport as quick as possible. This was a time-critical task for the logistic specialist.

All customer requirements, the goods to be conveyed, the air connections and the current traffic situation were checked immediately. Airfreight decided to offer the service “special transport-emergency logistics” and go to France by own GPS-controlled car (VW Caddy). The mechanics in Nice were already waiting for the spare part and after changing the damaged component the driver took it back direct to Munich.
